Meigle Sunday School
Who are we?
We are Meigle Parish Church Sunday School and we are the “future” of the Church. Our group is open to all children from age 4 upwards and we welcome any new families who have recently moved to the area to come along and meet us.
When do we meet?
We meet every Sunday morning during term time at 10 am.
Where do we meet?
We get together in the front rows of the Church to join with the congregation for the first 15 minutes of the service, thereafter continuing our session in the Church Hall until about 11 a.m.
What do we do?
We open our session with a prayer which is read by one of the children. There are two teaching groups; the Stormbreakers (younger children) and the Miracle Makers (the older children). We use a variety of different material including “Go Teach” which features the colourful and interesting “Come Learn” activity books. As an alternative we sometimes listen to bible stories, write our own prayers, play board games and quizzes, enjoy craft activities, and sing our favourite songs accompanied by musical instruments.
Why do we do it?
To “Foster in our Children the Love of Jesus and the Beliefs of our Faith”.
